Garnier, Garnier Intensive 7 Days Lotion, Garnier Body, Body Moisturiser, Hydrating Moisturiser
One of the products I was most excited to try from the most recent Bloggers Brunch was the Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days lotions and the Anti-Dark Circles Roll-On. After a little hiccup where my bag went for a holiday with the lovely Jolie of Hey Bambini, I finally got my hands on the products.

As a normal skin gal, I tried the Softening Aloe Vera Extract and gave my mum, who came along to look after the babes, the Anti-dryness Honey for Dry, Sensitive Skin as she has skin which is easily aggravated by lotions, soaps and make up.

Powered by L-Bifidus* and naturally-based extracts, these Intensive 7 days lotions optimise you skin’s natural hydration retention and reinforces your skin’s protective barrier for long-lasting hydration.

Firstly, I would like to share with you some thoughts my mum has shared on using the Anti-dryness Honey for Dry, Sensitive Skin;

It is a creamy texture, not watery or oily. It’s smooth to apply and leaves my skin feeling much softer. It is gentle on my skin with no burning effects.
Something I am happy to use everyday.

Onto the Softening Aloe Vera Extract for Normal Skin. I have been loving this. The website says;

Its moisture-binding formulation provides hydration so intense you will still feel it for up to 7 days after the last application.**

And I absolutely agree. After using this lotion my skin feels like it’s practically radiating. I feel soft, silky and smooth. I don’t feel the need to continually reapply, as I have with other lotions. If for some reason (ie moving house and only take the bare minimum in toiletries) I am not using it every day there is at least a week where my skin will still feel lovely.

It quickly absorbs, without leaving any residue meaning you don’t have to wait for it to sink in before dressing, these days I don’t have time to prance around waiting for such things so this is a huge plus for me.

Although, I have to admit to loving coming back and being able to apply the divine lotion. Going on, it feels light, smooth and fresh and while I am not a fan of the scent during the initial application I do like the soft fresh smell which stays with me once the stronger scent has worn off.

This will be a permanent addition to my skin care regime as it makes me feel good and does what it claims.

Garnier, Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Roll-on, Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Review, For sleep deprived Mums
The Garnier Youthful Radiance Anti-Dark Circles Roll-On got me very excited from the outset, with claims like this, how could it not;

Garnier Youthful Radiance Anti-Dark Circles Roll-On is an innovative and immediate solution for dark circles, designed to instantly conceal and treat for a refreshing anti-fatigue action and instant dark-circles coverage.

As a mother of three under 5, I am eternally exhausted and carting around huge bags under my eyes and thus I constantly look like a zombie. So, the thought that I could quickly and easily give my under eyes a perk while covering the dark circles.

Is this not every Mumma’s dream?

I have read many good things about this, with the most recent being from Caz at The Truth About Mummy, so I was disappointed to find that this isn’t for me.

Going on it felt good, however, not long after each usage my left eye became swollen, red and itchy.

However my ever sensitive mum has been able to use it without issue.
